On February 22 at 5 pm, duo Resonabilis (Kristi Mühling – kannel), Tarmo Johannes – flute) will perform at Kadriorg Palace within Palace Music Concert Series. The program entitled „Estonian time“ features music by Estonian composers - Galina Grigorjeva’s Quasi niente for flute and kannel (2001/2014), Raimo Kangro’s Three Estonian Folk Melodies for flute Op. 43 No. 1 (1992), Malle Maltis’s cycle Kannel Patterns for kannel (2013), Tatjana Kozlova-Johannes’s Changeable for kannel and flute (2002), Mati Kuulberg’s For the Musician for flute (1995) and Ester Mägi’s Three parts from Six Estonian Folk Tunes (arr for kannel and flute), additionally John Buckley’s Alla Luna for kannel (2014) will be performed.
Palace Music Concert Series offers chamber music concerts featuring music from 18 to 20th century on Sundays at 5 pm at Kadriorg Palace.
