Pianist introduces the concert: „Beside the great dark epic like Eduard Tubin’s Ballad also Raimo Kangro’s cheerful Sonata, Kristjan Kõrver’s ironical Invitation to Dance and other known and less known, wistful and more amusing pieces will be performed. Harpsichord player Imbi Tarum’s concerts in Italy and Estonia July 5–17
Concerts on July 5 in Pärnu Town Hall and July 7 in Tallinn Kadriorg Palace present music by F. Couperin and C.Ph.E. Bach. On July 17, Imbi Tarum together with Raivo Tarum (baroque trumpet) will give a concert at the festival in Parma, Italy, where also harpsichord works by René Eespere, Peeter Vähi, Mirjam Tally, Tõnu Kõrvits, Helena Tulve and Rein Rannap will be performed.
Paavo Järvi’s concert in Rome and St. Petersburg July 6–13
Paavo Järvi conducts Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie in Rome on July 6, program: Beethoven’s Seventh Symphony. On July 12 and 13, Järvi will conduct the same orchestra in St. Petersburg at the festival White Nights, program consists of Schumann’s four symphonies.
Program includes music by Peeter Süda, Konstantin Türnpu, Artur Kapp, Kuldar Sink and Arvo Pärt.
Rapla Church Music Festival July 10–24

Viljandi Early Music Festival July 12–17
“Salt” is work by composer Helena Tulve and is dedicated to the completion of the seaplane hangars of Estonian Maritime Museum. New work was created in cooperation with the protographer and artist Tarvo Hanno Varres, texts was written by Maarja Kangro. Piece will be performed by sopranos Eve Kopli and Tui Hirv, Riivo Kallasmaa (oboe), Kristi Mühling (kannel) and percussion ensemble PaukenfEst. Concerts will take place on July 15 and 16 at 9 pm in seaplane hangars of Lennusadam of Estonian Maritime Museum.
Tallinn Sinfonietta and Andres Mustonen concert tour in Italy July 15–18
Tallinn Sinfonietta with the conductor Andres Mustonen will perform at festivals like Ravello, Mittelfest and Emilia Romagna Festival. Program consists of music by Pärt, Bach, Haydn, Mozart, Rautavaara, Knaifel, Kokkonen, Silvestrov, Kancheli, Gubaidulina, Piazzolla.

Including premiere of Tõnu Kõrvits’s orchestral work Tears-Fantasy, also music by Estonian composers Peeter Vähi and Jaan Rääts.
Mirjam Tally composer recital on July 27
On July 27 at 8 pm, Mirjam Tally composer recital will take place in Visby Cathedral in Gotland. Performers: Sirje Mõttus (accordion), Ensemble Resonabilis, Swedish poet Eva Runefelt.
From among Estonian music, pieces by Hugo Lepnurm, Andres Uibo, Edgar Arro and Rudolf Tobias can be listened.
