Tallinn Winter Festival starts today



The ninth Tallinn Winter Festival takes place from February 9 to 22. Concerts will be held at the Hopner House, Tallinn Town Hall, Swedish St. Michael's Church, Estonian National Library, Horsemill and theatre NO99. Performers are pianist and comedian Aksel Kolstad from Norway, violinists Anna-Liisa Bezrodny and Kristina Kriit, pianists Irina Zahharenkova, Ralf Taal and Marko Martin, cellist Andreas Lend, clarinetist Madis Kari, flutist Oksana Sinkova, saxophonist Virgo Veldi, trumpetist Neeme Ots, harpist Tatjana Lepnurm, baritone Atlan Karp, sopranos Katrin Targo, Arete Teemets, Pille Lill and Kristina Vähi and tenor Oliver Kuusik. The festival has always been accompanied by the motto „Open your eyes, open your heart“, this year festival turns to all their friends to donate to the „Instruments Fund“ to support Estonia’s most promising musicians in purchasing professional and high-quality music instruments.
