Calendar of music events

In February 2026, Vanemuine will premiere a new original Estonian opera Werewolf (composer Margo Kõlar, director and librettist Ivar Põllu). Ahead of this landmark premiere, soprano Pirjo Jonas (as Tiina in the production) and chorusmaster Piia Paemurru will take the stage to showcase the richness of Estonian classical opera singing. The audience will hear beautiful works by Estonian composers and receive an introduction to the world of the forthcoming Werewolf.
