Ensemble for New Music Tallinn in Baltic Music Days

17.10.2025
Location: The Energy and technology museum, Vilnius, Lithuania
Time: 19:00

The festival Baltic Music Days, held annually in a different Baltic country, is taking place this year in collaboration with the Lithuanian contemporary music festival Music Autumn (“Muzikos ruduo”).

The joint festival with an international dimension, will be held from October 9–18 at The Energy and Technology Museum, Liepkalnis Water Reservoir, and Kablys Club.

The central theme uniting the festival program is Meaning Transformations explored by Lithuanian composers and performers, along with guests from Latvia and Estonia. Ensemble for New Tallinn is very pleased and honoured to represent Estonia. The ensemble's concert on October 17 will feature works by Estonian, Latvian, and Lithuanian composers.

The program invites audiences to examine intermediality and explore various forms of meaning transformation, observe the process of change itself, and discover how an entirely new field of meanings can emerge depending on the medium.
