Many of the most impressive works of the Baroque era masters in orchestral music are the concerto grossi. This form of composition is based on the colorful dialogue of a group of solo instruments and a tutti orchestra. The concerto grossi of Handel, Corelli, Geminiani, Muffat and Locatelli will be heard at the joint concert of the Finnish Baroque Orchestra (FiBO) and Floridante. For Anthony Marini, a violinist known to both FiBO and Floridante as a soloist and concertmaster, the joint project between the two countries will be his last as FiBO's artistic director.
