One of the highlights of the Estonian Music Days is always the concert of the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra (ENSO). ENSO will perform brilliant and profound new compositions by six Estonian composers. The new works have been written by Mari Vihmand, Tatjana Kozlova-Johannes, Rasmus Puur, Timo Steiner, and Märt-Matis Lill, each of whom has dedicated their piece to a teacher or an inspirational figure.

The second half of the concert will feature Artur Lemba’s First Symphony, which is also the first symphony ever composed by an Estonian composer. Lemba dedicated this symphony to his musical role model and teacher, Aleksander Glazunov.
The concert will be conducted by the esteemed German conductor Michael Wendeberg, who is particularly renowned for his masterful interpretations of contemporary music.

The winner of the “LHV New Composition Award Au-tasu” will be announced at the concert
