Calendar of Music Events

On the evening of 29 November, the sacred world of folk art will be opened up at the concert "THE CROWNING OF THE SINGER" in Charles Church, Tallinn. On stage, the beautifully mature sound of a chamber female choir Muusad, soloists dear to Estonian audiences and yet-to-be-discovered talents, festive vocal instrumental music and the filigree elements of folk dance will meet. Led by Ode Pürg, the orchestra will perform a unique combination of music by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Veljo Tormis. In collaboration with each other, and through the ceremonial choreography of the folk dancers, the works create an imaginary coronation service celebrating both folk song and dance.
