Edmund Balduin Uus

Member of the Estonian Composers’ Union since 1961

Cellist and composer Edmund Uus studied cello in Tallinn Higher Music School in Raymond Bööcke’s class (1921–1924) and composition in Tallinn Conservatory under Heino Eller (1944–1948). He worked as a cellist in Estonian Radio Symphony Orchestra (1944–1962) and was active as a pianist and cellist in Tallinn cinemas and restuarant ensembles.
