Estonian Sinfonietta’s final concert of te season „The Gold of Vienna. The Night.“

For ten days from 12 to 21 July Estonia’s summer capital will be filled with the buzz and love of music-making. The 2023 Pärnu Music Festival brings legendary violinist and violist Pinchas Zukerman to Estonia and Neeme Järvi will conduct the festival’s opening concert. Paavo Järvi leads the Estonian Festival Orchestra in four concerts and Kristjan Järvi returns with the Baltic Sea Philharmonic.

Estonian Music Days 2023 programme announced

Estonia’s largest festival of premieres Estonian Music Days announced the programme of contemporary music concerts taking place from April 26 to May 7.

Estonian Classical Album of the Year 2023 was revealed. It is the album "Estonian Premieres" recorded by the Estonian Festival Orchestra and conductor Paavo Järvi, released by Alpha Classics.

The works of composer Mihkel Kerem will fill a symphonic evening in Pärnu

The Pärnu City Orchestra will give a generous concert of works by Mihkel Kerem under the direction of conductor Mikk Murdvee. With violinist Triin Ruubel-Lilleberg as the soloist, Kerem's first major instrumental concerto - the Violin Concerto - will be performed. The recently composed Cello Concerto (2020), in which Canadian-born Dutch cellist Willem Stam will perform as a soloist, will have its world premiere. The evening will be concluded with Kerem’s Symphony No. 6.
