On January 30, „Imaginäre Sonate” op. 53 by Age Veeroos will be premiered in Bonn as a part of the international project „250 piano pieces for Beethoven” initiated by German pianist Susanne Kessel. To mark the 250th anniversary of the birth of Ludwig van Beethoven, Kessel invited composers from all around the world to compose piano pieces which are inspired by Ludwig van Beethoven's music. Veeroos's “Imaginäre Sonate” op. 53 is inspired by Beethoven’s Piano Sonata No. 21 in C major, Op. 53 („Waldstein”), and it will be premiered together with the other new piano pieces in Bonn, where Beethoven was born. All the new piano music will be published in 2020 by Editions Musica Ferrum and will be available for the international music world.
