Zooming:Estonia – the focus is on Estonian music



Within the framework of project Zooming:Estonia, Sepia Ensemble will perform music by Galina Grigorjeva, Mari Vihmand, Kerri Kotta, Tõnu Kõrvits, Märt-Matis Lill, Tatjana Kozlova, Witold Szalonek and Kazimierz Serocki in Poznań.

At the Festival Poznań Musical Spring (March 21–25, 2014), Sepia Ensemble will present a project Zooming:Estonia. Concert will take place on March 23 at 9.30 pm in Poznań Music Academy Hall.

Witold Szalonek - Improvisations sonoristiques for clarinet, trombone, cello and piano (1968)
Tõnu Kõrvits - Thule Patterns for string quartet (2007)
Märt-Matis Lill – Nightly Way for violin, cello and piano (2013)
Tatjana Kozlova - Reservoir 2 for flute, clarinet, violin and cello (2006)
Kazimierz Serocki - Swinging Music for clarinet, trombone, double bass and piano (1970)

The goal of the Zooming: Estonia project realized by SONORA and Sepia Ensemble is presentation to the listeners, in the some fragment of course, the most interesting phenomena, names and works in the Estonian contemporary music. The aim of the project is also the presentation of the works of the Estonian composers in the cross-sectional way of the generations – from the well known and world-wide names to the staying at the beginning of the artistic way, the youngest generation.
