Vocalissimo: Priit Volmer

Concert series Vocalissimo which introduces Estonian singers will continue with three concerts in Pärnu, Tartu and Tallinn. Bass Priit Volmer will perform with flutist Oksana Sinkova, guitarist Heiki Mätlik and pianist Piia Paemurru. The program consists of music by Franz Schubert and Estonian composers Villem Kapp, Artur Kapp, Mart Saar, Raimond Lätte, Adolf Vedro and Ülo Krigul.
Concerts will take place on April 26 at 7 pm in Pärnu Concert House, April 27 at 7 pm in Vanemuine Concert Hall and April 30 at 6 pm in Tallinn Town Hall.

Priit Volmer is first and foremost known on the opera stage. He has worked as a soloist at the Estonian National Opera since 2004. He has achieved recognition for his artistry, stage charisma, beautiful timbre and comic talent. Volmer’s repertoire includes a number of roles of the well-known opera and operetta literature. He has also performed as a soloist in vocal-symphonic music.
