About EMIC
Estonian Music Information Centre (EMIC) was established in 1995 by 15 music-related institutions. Actual work started in April 1996. EMIC is a non-profit organisation. Since 1999 EMIC is a member of the International Association of Music Information Centres (IAMIC).
The priority of EMIC is to arouse interest in Estonian classical and contemporary music both in Estonia and abroad. EMIC is the centre that provides information about Estonian composers and their works, music organisations and their activities, musicians and musical life in general.
Estonian Music Information Centre is supported by the Estonian Ministry of Culture.
