On Feburary 2, new CD Cello and Organ with music by Estonian composers was presented at Tallinn St. Nicholas’s Church. CD contains Artur Lemba’s Lullaby, Edgar Arro’s Largo, Juhan Jürme’s Andante sostenuto, Tõnu Kõrvits’s Introduction and Wanderer’s Song (2003/2010), Eino Tamberg’s A Play with Big Drum (2009), verison of Artur Kapp’s Prelude (1918) for cello and organ and Andante religioso (1915), Andres Uibo’s Bach in Spiegel (2005), Ester Mägi’s Psalm (1991) and Kaljo Raid’s Largo (1940). Many of these works are presented on CD for the first time.
Music is preformed by cellist Aare Tammesalu and organist Andres Uibo, featuring also Heldur Harry Põlda (vocal).
