Maarja-Liisa Pilvik

Maarja-Liisa Pilvik has studied in the University of Tartu in the Department of Estonian and Finno-Ugric Studies (MA, 2013), and continues there her doctoral studies since 2013. She has been exchange student in the University of Helsinki and visiting student in the University of Leuven (Belgium). Currently she works as a junior researcher in the University of Tartu.

Pilvik’s musical education started in the Rudolf Tobias Kärdla Music School, where she studied piano and accordion. Later she has been active as a piano accompanist and accordionist by amateur collectives. From 2015, she sings in the Academic Women's Choir of the University of Tartu.
