Kamber Soloists

Kamber Soloists is ensemble founded in 2012 and belongs to the artistic group KAMBER. The ensemble brings together Estonian professional musicians, members of the ensemble varie according to music to be performed. Artistic director of the Kamber Soloists is Risto Joost.

All concerts performed are unique projects comprising different professional musicians. In 2013 music theatre production Viimane monogaamlane (The Last of the Monogamicans) was brought on stage based on Estonian writer Kristiina Ehin’s collection of poems and music written by Hanna-Liisa Võsa and Kristjan Randalu. In October 2013 premiere of Toivo Tulev’s Sonnets took place at concert „Miserere“ as a collaboration with Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir, Voces Musicales and Vox Clamantis. Also Georgio Allegri's Miserere first performance by Estonian musicians was on programme. In 2014 concert with English renaissance music and arrangements of Estonian spiritual folk songs was performed at Tallinn Blackhead`s Guild Hall also opera concerts "Opera Italiana" and "Bel canto" as a cooperation with Baltic Studio Lirico.

Association KAMBER unites artists from different realms in purpose to develop chamber music theatre productions in Estonia. Artistic directors of KAMBER are Risto Joost and Hanna-Liina Võsa.
