Estonian National Male Choir concerts within the framework of the festival Gustav Ernesaks 100

Within the framework of the festival Gustav Ernesaks 100, Estonian National Male Choir will perform choral works by Gustav Ernesaks in different Estonian concert venues. Soloists are Aleksander Mihhailov (bass), Aleksander Arder (bariton) and Siim Selis (piano).

The first concert will take place on December 10 at 7 pm at Viljandi Traditional Music Centre, the choir will be conducted by Olev Oja and Kuno Areng. Also Viljandi Male Choir Sakala with Mareks Lobe conducting will perform. On December 11 at 7 pm, Estonian National Male Choir with Olev Oja and Kuno Areng conducting will sing at Raasiku Community Centre and December 12 at 7 pm at Estonia Concert Hall, Tallinn. In Tallinn the choir will be conducted by Ants Üleoja, Uno Järvela, Ants Soots, Eri Klas, Kuno Areng and Olev Oja.

On December 13 at 7 pm, the joint concert of four choirs will take place at Tartu University Assembly Hall. Besides Estonian National Male Choir, also Tartu University Chamber Choir (conductor Triin Koch), Tartu University Academic Female Choir (conductor Triin Koch), Tartu Academic Male Choir (conductor Alo Ritsing) will perform choral works by Ernesaks.

Estonian National Male Choir will be heard also in gala concert of the festival on December 14 at Estonia Concert Hall, Tallinn.
