Erkki-Sven Tüür is Composer in Residence at Spannungen Festival

Spannungen Festival in Heimbach, Germany, presents composer Erkki-Sven Tüür. Program includes Tüür’s chamber and orchestra works „Insula Deserta“,  „Symbiosis“,  „Synergy“ and „Fata Morgana“ performed by Kölner Kammerorchester (conductor Lars Vogt), Veronika Eberle (violin), Edicson Ruiz (double bass), Florian Donderer (violin), Tanja Tetzlaff (cello), Anna Reszniak (violin), Gustav Rivinius (cello) and Herbert Schuch (piano). On June 23, world premiere of „Lichttürme“ will be performed by Christian Tetzlaff (violin), Tanja Tetzlaff (cello) and Lars Vogt (piano).

Chamber music festival Spannungen concerts take place in Heimbach Hydroelectric Power Station. Artistic director of the festival is pianist and conductor Lars Vogt. All concerts will go on the air of Deutschlandfunk during next months.
