Concerts of the Association of Estonian Professional Musicians in May

The Association of Estonian Professional Musicians has three concerts in May. The pianists Matti Reimann and Mati Mikalai perform with solo recitals but there is also a chamber concert where Iren Lill plays harpsichord and Holger Faust-Peters plays viola da gamba.

On May 2 at 6 pm, Matti Reimann will play piano pieces by Johann Sebastian Bach, Ludwig van Beethoven, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Heino Eller in Meder Hall situated in the Tallinn old town. On May 3 at 6 pm, Mati Mikalai performs in Kadriorg Palace. The programme consists of piano music by Estonian composers Eduard Tubin, Ester Mägi and Erkki-Sven Tüüri, but also Georg Friedrich Händel, Johann Sebastian Bach / Ferruccio Busoni, Olivier Messiaen and Claude Debussy. On May 17 at 6 pm, Iren Lill (harpsichord) and Holger Faust-Peters (viola da gamba) perform in Kadriorg Palace with a concert entitled At German Traces. The duo plays works by Konrad Höffler, August Kühnel, Dietrich Buxtehude, Georg Muffat and Gottfried Finger.
