Tallinn Baroque Orchestra and Andrew Lawrence-King: „Carolan's Concerto: Celtic Baroque“
Tallinn Baroque Orchestra
Andrew Lawrence-King (director)
Tõnis Kaumann (baritone)
Have you noticed that almost everything that is based on folklore has a special power within?
Irish musicians continue to captivate all of Europe and rarely stray far from their roots. Tradition is important and its own stars are remembered. Turlough O'Carolan – the blind wandering harpist, poet, and most famous of the Irish bards – is still worshipped as a master of Irish traditional music. The delicate blend of our familiar 18th century baroque music and beloved Irish melodies takes us to a wonderful, lively soundscape where everything old feels new, yet still safely familiar.
Tickets available at Fienta and before the concert at the venue.
