Ensemble for New Music Tallinn performance at intersonanzen festival
The Brandenburg Contemporary Music Festival "intersonanzen" has been held since 2000 and is a 5-day event in three different locations in Potsdam, Germany (the festival takes place on 18-22.05.2023).
At the concert on May 20, the Ensemble for New Music Tallinn will present works by German composers and three Estonian composers: Tatjana Kozlova-Johannes, Ülo Krigul and Lauri Jõeleht.
The "intersonanzen" festival offers composers the opportunity to write new compositions and with various international ensembles. This is how the festival program is born as a collaboration between members of the composers' association and guest ensembles.
Each "intersonanzen" festival has a special title and theme. The theme of the 2023 festival is "Changes of the present time - about the influence/handling of time in contemporary music and sound art".
