Mirjam Tally (b. 1976). “Winter Island” for string trio (2009)
The Elite Concerts series includes a set of chamber music events organised in collaboration with the Association of Estonian Professional Musicians. Each concert takes place in the prestigious Estonian Concert Hall and contains a thoughtful selection of important chamber music works performed by the best Estonian musicians. This concert introduces YXUS Ensemble, outgrown from the NYYD Ensemble, and Age Juurikas, a solo pianist with vigorously suggestive performing style, combining the piano playing traditions of Russia and Europe.
